We, Assan Aluminyum, are
aluminium rolled products company; in our Foil
Mill, we do regularly use precision steel tubes
for our produced foil coils. The material we
are used to have with these tubes is St 37.
Our general consumption on
these tubes are with the following dimension:
158 mm o.d. x 150 mm i.d. x 4 mm wall thickness
x 6000 mm length. Our regular consumption is
around 3000 metre per month.
Other regular dimensions of
tubes we consume are:
1) 162,4 mm o.d. x 152,4 mm
i.d. x 5 mm wall thickness x 6000 lenght
2) 75 mm o.d. x 70 mm i.d x 2,5 mm wall thickness
x 6000 mm lenght
3) 80 mm o.d x 76,1 mm i.d x 3,66 mm wall thickness
x 6000 mm lenght
For these three sizes our consumption
is 100 metre per month
For this material the very
important point is steel tube has ultrasonic
test of weld seamaccording to valid standards.
SURFACE QUALITY
- Inner and outer surface must be free from
any projecting part of welding seam.
- Inner and outer surface must be free from
burr and rust.
- There must not be any crushed or damaged part
on the steel tubes.
