What started in 1948 mainly out of necessity, is today the basis of a modern, medium-size enterprise. Ludwig Lang, as owner of a heating installation workshop, tried to simplify piping and invented the first cold bending machine for tubes.
When Ludwig Lang founded his heating installation workshop in 1930, he certainly did not foresee that his small company would one day develop into a tube bending manufacturer with international standing.
As necessity is known to be the mother of invention, the pioneer in 1945 had an idea that would have tremendous consequences for his small firm.
The problems in laying water and heating pipes led him to develop a tube bending device which was presented for the first time in 1948 at the Hanover Fair.
He met up with such a good response that subsequently a rapid upward trend ensued with the granting of numerous patents. In the meantime, the small enterprise developed into a tube bending manufacturer, consistently facing the challenges of technological progress, whose products are among the best worldwide.
