The roots of the company go back to the postwar period. In autumn 1950, a decision to erect a modern aluminium processing factory in Kety was taken. In 1953, Casting Plant was established and commenced to produce casting alloys. In 1956 Foil Plant was commissioned, and in 1958 - Extrusion and Drawing Plant. They have been producing to date in the structure of the company as Flexible Packaging Segment and Extruded Product Segment.
Since the beginning of 1996 Kety has been a public company. The company’s shares are quoted on the primary market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange as one of the most stably priced securities. Kety as a public company has managed to fulfill many investment projects, totally valued of over PLN600mn. The largest investments were commissioning of a new modern packaging plant in the economic zone in Tychy, as well as an aluminium extrusion plant, being one of the state-of-the-art plants in Europe.
