For almost 150 years the DAKO brand has been synonymous with the pipe tools which have been a daily help to pipefitters and installation engineers alike.
The orginal DAKO elbow pipe wrench-snap® Swedish pattern has proved itself millions of times over and enjoys a world-wide reputation.
The name DAKO is irrevocably linked to the manufacture of pipe wrenches. The Eck-Schwede® elbow pipe wrench was invented in 1933 and the DAKO elbow pipe wrench-snap® Swedish pattern was invented in 1957 by DAKO.
DAKO has thus gained its high competence in the manufacture of the highest quality pipe wrenches.
However pipes have to be not only handled and screwed, but they have to be cut, flanged and bent. For this DAKO offers a full range of hand tools and bending machines for pipe and sheet metal processing.
Tools from DAKO offer the highest quality. Each piece is red-hot forged from specially-selected steel. Outstanding and experienced staff ensure, with the aid of in-process testing, that a tool of the highest quality and with a long service life is thus produced, from which customers all over the world can profit.
