FAE was established in 1986. It is located a few minutes away from the International Ezeiza airport, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was originally devoted to the manufacture of Zircalloy tubes for the nuclear industry. FAE has been incorporating to its product program corrosion resistant materials in critical processes.
Currently, it is the only Latin American seamless tube producer of special alloys, such as austenitic and duplex stainless steels, nickel alloys, and titanium alloys.

Seamless tubes of duplex and superduplex stainless steels.
Stainless steel seamless tubes.
Zircalloy seamless tubes.
Titanium alloy ingots.
Titanium alloy laminated and forged bars.

These products are exported to: USA, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Korea, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, Mexico, Venezuela, Belgium, and Colombia.
All supplementary products as required by its production are also marketed, such as plates, bars, accessories, flanges, etc.
The Company started supplying Zirconium tubes for nuclear fuels of the currently operated Atucha I & Embalse nuclear plant power reactors. However, challenges of the Company involve development of new high value added and corrosion resistant materials intented for the global market.
