Northrop Grumman has delivered mid-boom assemblies for NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope. Astro Aerospace, a Northrop Grumman business, designed, built and tested the graphite-epoxy assemblies.

NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope is comprised of four major components — the telescope, the integrated science instrument module, the spacecraft and the sunshield. Company is awarded contract from Sonatrach, Algeria's state energy producer

Dubai-based Dodsal Group has been awarded a contract from Sonatrach, Algeria's state energy producer, to execute engineering, procurement and construction on a $1.1 billion pipeline project.

The work, which includes detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the plant, will begin shortly and is scheduled to be completed in 2020.

Upon completion, the South HGA-Hassi Messaoud plant will be producing at a capacity of 66,000 barrels/day, the company said in a statement.

Forterra, Inc. (NASDAQ : FRTA) today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell the U.S. concrete and steel pressure pipe assets of its Water Pipe and Products business segment to Thompson Pipe Group. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2017.

Construction will start this summer on Enbridge's 1,700-kilometre Line 3 replacement pipeline, the largest project the company has ever undertaken.

Several pipeline projects have been proposed to pass through the Prairies, though this will be the first to proceed. The $7.5-billion Line 3 replacement from Hardisty, Alta., to Superior, Wis., was approved by Justin Trudeau's Liberal government last fall, at the same time as the Trans Mountain expansion.

LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil & gas company Zenith Energy said on Friday it has confirmed that Well M-195 in the Muradkhanli field in Azerbaijan has eight metres of permeable hydrocarbon pay, following a recently completed Pulsed Neutron Log.

Zenith has contracted Italian coiled tubing company Smape Srl to perform well interventions in the Muradkhanli, Jafarli and Zardab fields. For well M-195, Smape will bring a coiled tubing unit on June 24 in order to resume production at the well, after its flow had to be cut off to pull out the drill string on June 5.
